On our lunch and dinner menu, you’ll find classics that always hit the spot: think of our club sandwich, steak frites, or the best burger in Rotterdam. On the chalkboard, you’ll find daily specials and seasonal dishes, from fresh asparagus and mussels to rich stews.

We leave nothing to chance when it comes to drinks either. Whether you’re here for a great cup of coffee, a refreshing G&T, or a beer from one of our 9 taps — you can always expect a perfect serve.

Joost & Peter

We met during our studies and have spent more time in cafés than in lecture halls ever since — both in front of and behind the bar. We traveled a lot, paid close attention to what worked, and took with us everything that felt right: atmosphere, simplicity, and genuine hospitality.

We built Baek from the ground up, together. Out of friendship, through trial and error. What started as two ideas at a table has grown into a close-knit team of young enthusiasts. A place where everyone can be themselves, and where service and quality are not promises, but the standard.
